Hazel Mae was born July 24. This beautiful girl is my August model. Her mother, Leslie, and father, Dan, both teach for Union Public Schools. What a sweet summer!

Aspen

I was in Aspen, Colorado the week of the 4th of July, and was able to shoot this portrait of Kevin. He is not only a prominent American lawyer who specializes in water law, and travels the world giving talks, but is currently publishing his fourth book in a series that began with Threatened Waters, and continues with Unholy Alliances and Silkworm. It was such a fun and exciting way to celebrate our 243rd Independence Day.
